(My OC for Percy Jackson and the Olympians.)
- Name: Ribbon Joan Fallcrest Daughter of Morpheus
- Race: Demigod
- Age: 17
- Mortal Parents: Rain Maria Fallcrest, Ribbons mother. She never married.
- Weapon: A bow staff with crescent blades at each ends. One a celestial bronze blade the other a styxian steel blade. In mist form this is a black blanket.
- Physical Description: Ribbon is 5’, 11’’ tall. She is slightly scrawny with no real mucles and fair skin (somewhere between paper white and slightly tan). Her eyes are rarely seen because she wears a plain white thick blindfold over them almost all the time; but they are a dark blue. Her hair is cut about four inches above her shoulders and a deep mahogany, red brown color. Her hair is always messy because she never bothers to brush it when (or if) she wakes up. She is always wearing a camp shirt that is too big for her, and her signature lime green pajama pants, and blue bunny slippers. She despises all other cloths and armor, so she refuses to wear them.
- Personality: Ribbon is a generally very caring and loveable girl. She appears to be extremely lazy , because of her excessive sleeping when she isn’t doing something required ( eating, training, ect.). She trusts none of her sibling in the Morpheus cabin and refuses to sleep near them. She can be angered very easily ,and also frightened very easily.
- Backstory: Ribbon, who was 14 at the time, lived with her mother on a farm in Iowa until they were attacked by a monster. Ribbon watched helplessly as the beast slew her mother, and afterwards frightened it off with her special ability. After that she wandered into a forest and met a centaur named Birch. He took a shine to her and asked her to stay with the party pony chapter of Iowa. She stayed there for 2 years with Birch until his cousin, Chiron, convinced him she wasn’t a pet and took her to Camp Half Blood. She’s stayed there ever since.
- Misc. Info: Unlike Morpheus kids Ribbon can’t walk through dreams, only nightmares. Her eyes turn black when she is frightened, angered, or in the heat of battle. When they do, people who look into her eyes experience their worst nightmares. This is her best power and her curse. She doesn’t like to hurt people with her “Nightmare Gaze” so she wears the blindfold. After wearing it for so long she was able to sharpen her senses and even tapped into echo location. Ribbon can fall asleep anywhere in any position (standing, walking, up-side-down, ect.). She also made friends with one of her father’s nightmare beasts and named it Poppy.
