Sonadow 3 chapter 2

Chapter 2

Shadow felt something heavy on his stomach and opened his eyes, only to have a great big pair of green ones looking back at him.
“good mowing daddy “ Rush said to him.
Shadow smiled
“good moring Rush”
He picked her up and sat up on the bed. Sonic was gone and he could smell something cooking. Rush pulled one of his spikes and he smiled at  her.
“ ok ok “ he said as she tugged harder.
He put her on his head and she giggled grabbing his ears to hold on. Shadow smiled and walked into the kitchen ducking slightly so she wouldn’t hit her head on the doorframe. He walked in and saw sonic at the stove cooking and Hotrod still half asleep in his booster seat. Shadow took rush off his head before Sonic turned around and put her in her seat. Sonic put bacon toast and eggs on the table and  Shadow dug in hungerly. Sonic sat next to him and put some food on plates for Rush and Hotrod. They started eating and  Shadow looked at Sonic.
“ so dear what are we doing today?”
Sonic turned to him with a slitly annoyed look.
“ well hun your taking the kids to the park while I claen the house “
Shadow groaned.
“ come on Sonic you can clean tomorrow come with us. “
Sonic shook his head.
“ no if I don’t do it I won’t get done “
Shadow sighed. He couldn’t count the number of time they had gone through this argument but it was just one that broke the manoutenus calm.
“ fine “
After breakfast Shadow helped Sonic dress the kids . He finally got Hotrod into a green shirt with a dinosur on  the front and Sonic sat waiting in the living room with Rush dressed up in a black shirt and jeans . Shadow picked up Rush and kisses Sonic.
“ I’m timeing you Sonic “ he told him dauntingly.
“ yeah yeah “ Sonic smirked and started to clean. Shadow took the kids out to the park. Knuckles Rouge, Silver , Amy and their kids were already there. Shadow put Rush and Hotrod down and let them play walking over to the other parents.
“ hi guys”
“ hi Shadow “ they all answered.
Shadow sat next to Rouge and ingajed them in conversation. A few minutes later Sonic came. Shadow smiled and pulled the blue boy into his lap.
“ your 10 minutes late”
“ the kids room was really messy” Sonic said playfully
“ I think their room is gona get really messy “ Knuckles chuckled.
Rouge hit him and the conversation continued but Sonic noticed Amy wasn’t talking . She was watching the kids playing kick ball. Her main ocuse was on Will.
“ something wrong Amy? “
“ no “

Will and the others continued there game. Rush steped up to kick .
“easy out !” Tussle yelled
“ shut up you fucker” rush yelled back at him
Tussle rolled the ball and she kicked it hard . Will watched it land and roll into the middle of the road.
“ I got it “ He called to the others.
The small black hedgehog walked into the street.. Almost at once a huge White S.U.V pulled into the street. The speed limit was 20 miles an hour . the vehicle was going at least 50. Will froze as it got closer. Sonic and Shadow could only watch . Everything happened so fast. There was a pink blur, and Will was on the other side of the road a pink form lay in the middle of the road bleeding heavely. The S.U.V. kept going not carig it had just killed some on. Silver had jumped up and ran to Amys dieng body .
“ AMY AMY WAKE UP!!” he ylled shaking her.
The others grabed there kids quick going over to Silver. HE picked up amy and teleported leaving Will.
“ daddy mommy? “HE asked confused.
Shadow picked him up and Sonic had Rush and Hotrod.
“ Will you can stay with us till your dad and mom get back. “ Sadow said gently.
Will nuzzles Shadow and fell asleep . Both hegdehhog took the kids home and tucked them in for their naps
“ Shadow Amy won’t live will she ? “
“ there is nothing in this world that can save her Sonic . “ he replied solemnly
Sonic hugged Shadow nuzzling into his white patch. Shadow hugged him back and started to shush him. Tears stained Shadows’ shirt as Sonic cried.
“ it’s ok Sonic”
“ no it’s not what if it had been Hotrod or Rush? “
“ it wasn’t and we would have dome the same thing Sonic . I will protect you and out kids no matter what”
Sonic hugged him tighter and Shadow sat with him  on the couch.
